We are looking for artists to be showcased at Art from the Ground Up Art Show hosted by SPS Productions on Sunday, May 5, 2024 from 1 - 5pm. Art will be exhibited at the Distillery of Modern Art - 2197 Irvindale Way, Chamblee, GA 30341.

SPS Productions first made their debut in the art industry in 2014 when they hosted a fundraiser for an anti-bullying non-profit organization, The Push Back Project. SPS Productions aims to bring new and local artists into the spotlight while continuing to raise funds for non-profit organizations.

The central mission of Peachtree Farm is to promote equitable employment for adults with disabilities. A farm creates a unique opportunity for employment because the work is hands on, engaging, and accessible.

Sample jobs include: Grounds maintenance, plant care, harvesting fruits and vegetables, packing for sale, and running a farm stand.

As the farm grows to include housing opportunities, jobs will continue to expand and diversify.

Each of these jobs is a skills-based jobs, and transferable to other positions. By demonstrating the importance and efficacy of equitable employment, Peachtree Farm aims to create a culture of inclusion that the broader community can incorporate.

Artists are welcome to fill their space with as many pieces as they see fit. Assigned space will be 6x6. No art may be hung or leaned against the walls. Artists may use 6ft collapsible tables or easels. Both tables and easels can be rented from SPS Productions, or brought by the artist. Should the artist find a new way of displaying art, please reach out to SPS Productions with details for approval. Artists will need to provide their own artwork display cards showing the name and price of each piece.

There is no fee to apply for this show. There is a $40.00 fee if you are accepted to the show and a requirement to donate one piece of art to raise funds for Peachtree Farm. Should the donated artwork not sell, the artist MUST pick up the artwork at the end of the event.

-Payments must be in for booth space and any requested rentals by April 3 at 6pm.

-6 ft table - $35.00

-Easel - $20.00 each

-Chairs - No charge

Payments on rentals must be received by April 3 at 6pm.

1) Setup for the show will either be on May 5, 2024 from 10-1pm.

2) Upon arrival for set up, please follow load in instructions provided closer to the event. Load-in will be in the back. DO NOT begin setting up your booth until your car has been moved away from the back of the building and parked in a parking spot.

3) Please only enter/exit through doors clearly marked for entry. Some doors will be off limits.This will be clearly marked in your load in/load out document provided later.

4) On the day of the show, all cars must be off of the event space parking lot. There is plenty of spaces on the surrounding streets.

5) Artists MAY NOT break down until the end of the show at 5pm on May 5th. Anyone breaking down sooner than end of show will not be accepted into future shows.

6) If you are able to dolly into the event space rather than bringing your car to the back, this is preferred. The area in the back is tight and only allows a few cars in at a time. Dollying in will save you time.

By assuming the role of an artist for this show, you hereby absolve SPS Productions, Polina Williams, and all employees of SPS Production from any and all liabilities. This encompasses, but is not restricted to, injuries, harm to artwork, damage to products, and harm to the event space. In the event that any damage is attributable to your actions, all associated charges will be invoiced to you.

SPS Productions will have the right to pull any art work off of social media and artist website for promoting of the show once the artist has been approved. Art will be tagged and named in each post to ensure credit is given.
